A marvel of the travel poster encouraging people to visit the Évora in central Portugal.
The poster displays a detail of the temple's columns and Corinthian capitals which is found on the Roman Temple of Évora (Templo romano de Évora). Most of the historical centre of Évora is on UNESCO's World Heritage Site which is also the reason why the poster has the slogan "tradition and picturesqueness". I believe the colorful chair could something which is a local craft.
All in all a great and dreamy travel poster from a long time ago which is available for a very fair price because of its condition.
Please note: The artist made the artwork for the poster in 1947 but the poster was first printed in 1949 which why the poster is dated 1949.
