A very rare advertisement poster from the legendary venue - The London Coliseum!

The purple, yellow and red colors are still quite vibrant on the poster which still catches the eye as it did 80 years ago. The advertisement promotes the upcoming weekly shows at the venue including such acts as Rhapsody in Blue, Sylvia Clark, Chick Farr and of cause Terrier Racing! The race has it own highlighted spot with a nice picture suggesting that it could be one of the highlights.

The London Coliseum was completed in 1904 and was said to be one of London's largest and most luxurious variety theatres. The Coliseum's ambition was to be the finest music hall, described as the "people's palace of entertainment" of its age. The theatre might also be one of the world's first multi-purpose halls.

Overall this is a great and detail rich original vintage poster with quite a few funny expressions of advertising in 1920s.

Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
