A truly beautiful Mexican travel poster in bright and vivid colors!
The poster was commissioned by the Mexican Tourist Ministry to encourage people to visit the city of Puebla (located a bit south of Mexico City).
Puebla is a wonderful city (I have been there myself) and In the historic part of the city, much of the Spanish architecture from the colonial era is preserved and it is therefore on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The poster displays a smiling and welcoming woman dressed in traditional cloths. In the background is the magnificent Puebla Cathedral from the 17th century.
Overall a nice and classical mid-century travel poster.
