A fascinating and historical poster commemorating the Apollo 11 mission - which included the first human to set foot on the Moon.
"Eagle" was the nickname of the lunar module which is why the poster features a "bald eagle" - the National bird of the United States.
One might think that Neil Armstrong (1930-2012) was the first person in history to walk on the moon. The person on the image is actually Edwin ("Buzz") Aldrin, Jr. - the second person to walk on the Moon. But Armstrong was the commander on the mission and this is probably why many think of him first.
Aldrin, Jr. was the lunar module pilot on Apollo 11 - the first manned lunar landing in history. He set foot on the Moon at 03:15:16 (UTC) on July 21, 1969.
Note: the poster has a little glare.
