Here is a quite interesting World Cup poster featuring the host country England and Spain in the second group stage of the final.
The match was played on Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Madrid the 5th July 1982 in front of 75.000 fans. The match ended 0-0 which ment that both teams did not made through to the next round.
The poster was made by the Spanish artist Donat Sauri who is also quite famous for his advertisements and bullfighting posters. You can actually see the bullfighting style in the lines of this poster. You can find Donat Sauri creations being sold at auctions houses all over the world.
This is a great historical poster which is an absolutely must-have for anyone who appreciates both football and vintage posters.
Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
