More info

A gruesome poster made to stop the war declared by the Soviet Union against Afghanistan in 1979.

The poster displays Mikhail Gorbatjov (former leader of the USSR) dripping blod from a dead peace dove on his head (to form his infamous birthmark on his forehead)

The poster was (in Danish): "They call it peace" and below is the number of victims from the military actions (which has been updated with a higher number by a new label overlapping the poster).

In either way this is a fine propaganda poster from the cold war.

Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
