A very beautiful wine advertisement displaying a farmer harvesting grapes in the deep purple vineyard.
The poster advertises the winery La Beran which I could not find anything about online but I guess it was locate in France since the poster the text "Vin Rouge" (red wine). Down below it says "a good red wine" in Danish indicating that the poster was used to advertise La Beran in Denmark.
The artist who made the is the Danish painter Boye Willumsen. He also designed scenography, costumes and made a few posters like this one. Willumsen was fascinated with both horror and beauty and he often used both elements in his works and stayed many years in Paris working, painting and hosting exhibitions. Like his grandfather, the infamous J.F. Willumsen, Boye also used very strong colors and had a quite personal touch in his works.
This is the perfect poster if you love wine, especially French wine and it is even better if you like French wine and original vintage posters.
Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
