Yes - it is the Notre Dame - but the one i Reims, France just 129 km (80 mi) from Paris.
The poster was publish sometimes during the 1950s as a tourist poster by the French transportation department. What is interesting about this poster is the large photo of the cathedral which looks like graphical art. Perhaps the photo was added a layer of paint after the photo was developed?
The cathedral was built in 1211-1275 but was greatly damaged during German bombardments in the first world war and was later rebuild. The pictures of the damaged cathedral was used as propaganda by the French government to tell that the Germans destroyed the "European civilization". In 1991 the cathedral was listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
