This is an original poster from America's Cup in 1987. The 1987 America's Cup was the twenty-sixth challenge for the America's Cup and the first time for 132 years that it had not been defended by the New York Yacht Club.
The 1987's cup was held outside Fremantle which is a city in Western Australia at the mouth of the Swan River. This was the last time that 12-metre class yachts were used in the America's Cup.
The poster is a very nice lithographic poster made by Franco Costa and shows the beautiful shape of sailboats sailing on the blue ocean in a horizontal line. You can also find the signature of Franco Costa and the official America's Cup logo (see pictures).
The poster is printed in very high quality and the paper quality is quite thick - like light cardboard.
