More info

This is an advertising poster from a dancing show at the legendary cabaret "Casino de Paris" (Paris).

Casino de Paris has a long history as a concert hall and performance hall and dates back to 1891. The shows in that period was quite erotic and attracted a lot of public attention along with the infamous Moulin Rouge. Today Casino de Paris still exists and has ballets, concerts and other performances.

The poster advertises a show called "Zizi Je T'aime!" (Zizi, I love you!") which was a musical dance show with little robes in it. The Frence ballet dancer, singer and lead dancer Zizi Jeanmaire (real name "Marcelle Renee Jeanmaire") was the star of the show and so the show was named after her. She is very likely the girl on the poster.

The colors and the image would be perfect for hanging in the bedroom to spice up the atmosphere and will make you think of the atmospheric nightlife of Paris.

Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
