More info

Here is a Belgian campaign poster published by the NGO Amnesty International.

The poster displays a light being lit in the dark which symbolizes the important work of Amnesty International.

Amnesty International is a international NGO who aims "to document and act to prevent serious violations of human rights" and they do so by putting pressure on governments who does not live up the Universal Declaration of Human Rights written by The United Nations. But Amnesty International also hosts campaigns and back in the 1980s posters like this one could be seen in the streetscape.

Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
