More info

A really beautiful designed Danish Red Cross poster displaying a scenery of disaster with ancient cracking columns, burning buildings and people running away.

The poster was made to promote a fundraising by Danish Red Cross to support the people of Greece after a giant earthquake in 1953.

The earthquake is known as "Great Kefalonia earthquake" and measured 6.8 on the moment magnitude scale scale, and it raised up the whole island of Kefalonia by 60 cm (24 in). The event caused multiple damage throughout the islands of Kefalonia and Zakynthos located on the Greek west cost. Posters like with scary images where common before television began to broadcast near the disasters.

This is a charity poster that is reminding you of the extraordinary job the Red Cross doing.

Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
