Prost! Here is one nice original and colorful Oktoberfest poster from 1969. You can only get into the right mood by looking at this gorgeous a poster!

The poster displays a pretty young lady in her traditional wear - the dirndl - which is the name of a traditional feminine dress worn in Austria, South Tyrol, and Bavaria. The dress is based on the traditional clothing of Alps peasants and I have heard from owners that the dress highlights certain parts while it downplays other parts. All for the better.

In her hands is a "steckerlfisch" which is a small stick with a fish on. Something you have to try someday - it better than you think! To accompany the fish she has a "pretzel" which is a type of baked bread product made from dough most commonly shaped into a twisted knot. And to shallow the food she has (of cause) a large beer.

This is great and cheerful vintage poster with a nice graphical design and by using eleven different colors the poster has a smooth and simple expression.

Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
