A stunning abstract artwork of an un-dressed sitting woman.
The poster was made to promote an exhibition with works by the French artist Claude Garache at Galerie Maeght in Paris.
Claude Garache is a painter and his principal subject is the female nude. Like on this poster, much of Garache's work uses a single color on a monochrome background - very often blood-red on white.
The first Galerie Maeght opened in Cannes in 1936 and later the Paris gallery opened in 1946s. Some of the most famous international artist has been on display in the galleries and remain to this day among the most prestigious artist platforms.
