I will be a bit sad to see this go.
This beautiful and cheerful poster was made to promote "Les Floralies de Paris" which can be translated into "Paris Flower Show".
The flower show was hosted by Bois de VIncennes (Parc floral de Paris) which is a public park and botanical garden. During this international event The city of Paris decided to create a permanent exhibition space for the Floralies and other botanical exhibits and shows.
The poster displays a colorful view overlooking Paris with flowers everywhere and the house blocks appears to be fields in various colors. The famous Parisian attraction such as the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Place de la Concorde along with other palaces, churches and landmarks are highlighted. The painting on the poster was made in 1929-30 by Raoul Dufy (1877-1953) - a French Fauvist painter, who developed a colorful, decorative style that became fashionable for designs of ceramics and textiles, as well as decorative schemes for public Buildings.
