This is a original vintage poster from 1982 made by the famous Razzia in Paris who is behind many well-known posters.
The poster was med to promote an exhibition at the former Musée de l’Affiche et Musee de la Publicité called "Images de la Revolte". Today the museum is integrated in the Louvre Museum.
As seen on the poster the exhibition covered French protest from 1965 to 1975. The most famous was in 1968 with a volatile, two-month period of civil unrest throughout France. The country saw demonstrations, major general strikes, and occupations of universities and factories and even the president flet France fearing a revolution. These actions are a part of the global "Protests of 1968" with major student protests against war, politics and the established order.
In the bottom of the poster you can finde the signature of Razzia. The colors are made in the typical left-wing protest colors of red, white and black.
Please note: the poster is printed on heavy grade paper - no need to linen back - can be framed as it is.
