One marvelous and colorful exhibition poster made by the Austrian Friedensreich Hundertwasser!
As an artist Hundertwasser stands out as an opponent of "a straight line" and standardization which resulted in very colorful, organic and hand-drawn lines. Hundertwasser is perhaps best known for his decorations on KunstHausWien in Vienna (Austria) which hosts the largest collection of Hundertwasser's works. The 1892 house on the poster was re-designed by Hundertwasser in 1989-91 and stands out in the Viennese cityscape with its fairy tale shapes, creative colors and ingenuous little details.
Whiter you are familiar with the works of Hundertwasser this is a striking poster. This poster was made to promote an exhibition with his works in The National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen in 1976. The poster was printed in 1974.
