A very nice exhibition poster featuring a painting called "Dust Grains Dancing in the Sunbeams".
The poster was made to encourage people to visit an exhibition with works by Vilhelm Hammershøi (1864-1916). Hammershøi was a Danish realist painter known for his poetic, subdued portraits and interiors. In the beginning of his carrier he did not get much attention as it was said that his works lacked a point or a focus. Later in the 1800s the "missing things" actually became his advance as it gave the viewer the possibility to dream and imagine.
The exhibition was set up in Ordrupgaard Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1981.
Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
