A really nice picture of one of Thorvaldsen's epic sculptures.

This poster was made to encourage people to visit the Thorvaldsen Museum in Copenhagen to commemorate the 300 anniversary of the artist.

Bertil Thorvaldsen (1770-1844) was a Danish sculptor of international fame. Thorvaldsen mainly worked in the neo-classicist style and is famous for various works such as statues of Nicolaus Copernicus, the statue of Maximilian I in Munich and the tomb monument of Pope Pius VII in St. Peter's Basilica.
