A great festival poster from the Danish city of Aarhus (Århus) featuring a little devil playing the flute along with famous landmarks from the city.

The festival started in 1965 and since that year, the festival has grown to become one of the largest cultural events in Scandinavia with shows performed by local, national and international artists. The first nineteen festivals was advertised with a poster designed by Carl Johan Westberg, where only the background color changed from year to year.

Back In 1964, the festival week was intended as an experiment to turn the city's institutions and associations to present the city's cultural profile and Aarhus' great potential for the world. Today the festival has more than 500.000 visitors and lasts for ten days in row which makes the city buzzing!

Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
