Such a psychedelic dream from 1960s!
The iconic zig-zag man has here been transformed into a colorful artwork with an important questions: Who rolled Mary Jane? Of cause Mary Jane is a different name for Marijuana. Listen to the song from Rick James called "Mary Jane" and be convinced.
This poster is a so-called "blacklight poster" which due to its printing method, lines and colors is designed to give the viewer the sensation of being on drugs when the poster is exposed to ultraviolet light emitted from black lights. Such blacklight posters where very popular with the rise of LSD, mescaline and marijuana in the 1960s.
Overall this poster is quite a collector's dream or for anyone who favors colors and the beauty of the female body.
Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
