A very foresighted and well preserved advertisement poster from Sweden.
The poster advertises Skansen which is an open air museum and zoo in Stockholm, Sweden. In the area there are about 150 very old houses and farms which has been removed to Skansen from all over Sweden. The zoo has wild animals from Scandinavia such as wolves, bears, moose, reindeer, otters and owls. In the southern part of Skansen's animal unconnected to Scandinavia like flamingos and crowned cranes.
The poster displays a lady sitting in her home calling Skansen. In the lower part of the poster is another woman - employed by Skansen - who sends the calling lady her season pas. The text says: Call Skansen and your season pas is delivered by mail. I am quite surprised my then thoughtfulness of marketing people employed by Skansen in the 1930s - image that you could call and then your season pas was delivered. Interesting!
All in all a great Swedish vintage advertisement poster with a rich history and a very beautiful picture and great colors.
Thanks a lot for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.
