Every year Tivoli lets a new Danish artist design the poster art for the coming season. The art for the poster of 1982 was created by Bo Bonfils (1941) who also is well known for his drawings in Danish new papers and other well-known poster designs for Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Louisiana and DSB. On this lithography you can see a carousel horse that somehow flew of its carousel and flies into the night sky above the Tivoli Park with its landmark buildings.
Tivoli is one of the world most famous amusement parks. The park is the second oldest amusement park in the world and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In the lower right corner you can see the signature of the artist along, year of creation and the printer Permild & Rosengreen which still reprinting this beautiful original.
